Seven Essential Elements for Standardizing Clerkship Education with an Online Curriculum. Standardizing medical education is important for student learning. In this session, we describe how to enhance student learning in the clerkship years by designing a standardized asynchronous online curriculum. The presentation discusses the benefits of providing a faculty led standardized curriculum, elucidate a strategic process for identifying learning objectives, describe a variety learning modalities, and highlights important considerations for several assessment methods.
