The holidays are just around the corner and BCOM is holding a doing a donation drive for La Casa Inc., a local women’s/domestic violence shelter. They are in need of a lot of presents for their residents. Anything that you can donate to help these people who are going through a tough time in their lives and do not have much would be very appreciated. These would include presents for children of all ages, women and some men. We are going to be re-using the canned food boxes to put the gifts in. You are more than welcome to wrap them, if not there will be a group doing that for the shelter at a later point. They are accepting donations up until December 10th. If you don’t have time to shop please email me and we can try and work something out to where we can pick things up for people. Some of us will be shopping intermittently before the 10th.
