William (Bill) Baker, DO, professor of clinical medicine and regional assistant dean of the Las Cruces Hub, has received the Mayor’s Legacy Award from the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented by Las Cruces Mayor Ken Miyagishima during a virtual Healthcare Awards Ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 14. The annual awards ceremony recognizes various health care professionals who have made a difference in patients’ lives.
The Mayor’s Legacy Award recognizes one city health care professional who has left a lasting mark on the history and culture of the Las Cruces health care community and who has exhibited an extended track record of improving the local quality of life.
