Computer Recommendations for Burrell College Students
Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine requires students to have a laptop computer that meets the minimum system requirements necessary to support all academic and assessment systems used in the curriculum. Because secure exam software has the most stringent technical requirements, ExamSoft’s published system requirements for Examplify serve as the minimum baseline standard for student devices.
Students are expected to meet ExamSoft’s current minimum system requirements, including additional requirements for ExamID and ExamMonitor, both of which are required at Burrell. Devices that meet these requirements are sufficient for all other instructional and academic software used by the College. Please note:
Chromebooks are not supported and should not be purchased.
An iPad alone is not sufficient to meet all curricular and examination needs.
Students must have administrative privileges on their computer to install, update, and use required software.
Students are responsible for selecting and maintaining a device that meets these minimum requirements for the duration of their enrollment.
