Panther Aquatic Center

The Panther Aquatic Center opened to Florida Tech alumni, faculty, staff and students in June 2011. Located between the Clemente Center and the Panther Dining Hall, the 32,000 square foot facility features a competition pool and a recreation pool.

The competition pool boasts nine, 25-yard lanes complete with a one-meter and a three-meter diving board. Its depth ranges from 5.5 to 13 feet. The recreation pool varies in depth from three to six feet and includes three 25-yard lanes, stair entry and wading benches. Both pools are equipped with geothermal heating and cooling systems.

Varsity locker rooms and a public changing room are located on site. Covered seating is available adjacent to the competition pool.

Clemente Center For Sports and Recreation

The Clemente Center for Sports and Recreation is a 62,000 square foot facility that houses the varsity gym, intramural gym, weight room and a racquetball court. The two gyms, along with one meeting room and a beautiful aerobics room, are available for rental for sporting events as well as larger conferences, banquets, and galas. A small concessions / food court area is located off the main lobby.

Clemente Center Varsity Gym

The larger of two gymnasiums in the Clemente Center for Sports and Recreation. There is an “air wall” dividing the two gyms, which can be removed for large events. With bleachers and chairs, the combined gyms can seat approximately 2,600.

Tennis/Racquetball Courts

Outdoor Tennis Courts and Racquetball Court, located next to the Residence Quad on the northern end of campus contains 4 separate courts complete with extensive lighting for extended play. The courts are enclosed by diamond fence and mesh screening to reduce the influence of wind.

Intramural Sports

The Recreation and Intramural Office is located on the second floor of the Denius Student Center, room 207.
