It is with great enthusiasm that the Burrell OBGYN e-board officially announces our annual Breast Cancer 5k. The event will take place here at BCOM on October 26th, 2024, beginning with registration at 8:00am. This event will have student-led & physician-supervised booths with free medical information, general health screenings, and raffles with incredible prizes! The 1st place finisher will receive a $50 VISA gift card, and prizes will be given for 2nd and 3rd as well. As advocates for raising awareness and funds for breast cancer patients, we invite you to be a part of this empowering and impactful event. Breast cancer affects millions of lives every year and through events like these, we aim to promote early detection and provide essential resources for those who are currently fighting this tough battle. This event will serve as a platform to unite our community, honor survivors, remember loved ones, and stand together in the fight against breast cancer. All proceeds will be donated to Memorial Hospital for current breast cancer patients in the Las Cruces, NM community.
