Spring Trade: May 12, 9-11am

I’m not sure if you noticed, but while you were busy studying Neuro all day and night, spring arrived! As you think about moving for the summer, you may notice that you have more stuff than you feel like moving to a new house. Or perhaps, it’s just the opposite and your apartment is feeling a bit sparse. That’s why on May 12th from 9 to 11am, SGA is hosting BCOM’s first Spring Trade!

For those of us who have too much, we can bring the things we’re ready to pass along to someone else. For those of us who need to pick up a few more items, we can walk around “shopping” for free goods that we might need. All the extra stuff that doesn’t get picked up will be donated to a local charity. There is no money exchange involved. Items that can be traded include everything from clothes, kitchen accessories, furniture, art, jewelry, etc. The best part is, everything is FREE! By trading for goods instead of buying them new, we can promote an earth-conscious mindset. After all, “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” ammirite?

*Note (because I know some of you will ask): you DO NOT need to bring anything to give away in order to participate in the event. You can totally “shop” without “donating.”

Happy Shopping!
