BCOMers Observe World Autism Awareness Day

BCOM faculty, students, and staff observed World Autism Awareness Day on April 2 by wearing blue. On campus student organizations also collaborated to raise more than $350 for Autism Speaks, a foundation dedicated to promoting solutions across the spectrum and throughout the life span for the needs of people with autism and their families. The bake sale fundraiser was a joint effort organized by the Pediatrics Club, the Obstetrics/Gynecology Club, the Psychiatry Club, and Sigma Sigma Phi, an honors fraternity dedicated to community service.
