Purpose
The Mission Impact Scholarship was established to encourage prospective students who meet the Mission Index Criteria (MIC) to pursue a career as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. A student meets the Mission Index Criteria if, (a) the student identifies their legal residence as New Mexico, Arizona, or Texas, (b) the student graduated from or is in their last semester in an established Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine Pathway Program (OMPP), and/or, (c) the student is categorized as a HRSA underrepresented minority (URM). All potential recipients must be in good standing with the institution. One to multiple recipients per year and awards will vary based on available funding.

Eligibility Criteria | Resident of Arizona, New Mexico, or Texas and/or Graduate or student who is in their final term of an established Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine Path Program (OMPP) and/or Underrepresented minority (URM) (Underrepresented Minorities (URM) include Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Hawaiian/Pacific Islander and American Indian/Alaska Native ethnicities). and, In good standing with the College |
