Purpose
The Southwest Foundation for Osteopathic Education & Research (SWFOER) is a non-profit 501c3 corporation doing business as the Coalition for Osteopathic Excellence (COE). The COE has been established with a principal purpose to receive and administer funds such as endowments and annual scholarships to students at the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine. The Osteopathic Excellence Fund will provide scholarships to fourth-year students of the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine who were assigned to a Regional Academic Center in the state of New Mexico for core clinical rotations during their third-year of medical school. Additional criteria to be considered at the discretion of the scholarship committee.

Eligibility Criteria | Must be in good standing with the institution Fourth-year student, OMS-IV Must be assigned to a Regional Academic Center in the state of NM for core rotations during third year of medical school Additional criteria to be considered at the discretion of the scholarship committee. |
